BEFORE YOUR NEXT PEAK SELLING SEASON

A busy stall
isn’t the whole
story.

You can sell all day and still wonder where the money went.

There’s the stall fee. The stock you brought too much of. The bestsellers you ran out of. The discount you offered without checking your margin.

This workshop helps you make those decisions before event day. Whether you are preparing for your first market or want your next pop-up to work harder, we’ll connect your products, costs and sales activity to a clearer plan.

Know what a worthwhile trading day needs to look like for your business.

WHAT WE’LL WORK THROUGH

Come with questions.
Leave with a plan.

Four practical decisions to help you prepare, sell with purpose and learn from your next event.

01

Know your numbers

Look beyond your stall fee. Account for event costs, product margin and the sales you need to cover them before setting a realistic target.

YOUR TAKEAWAYA starting point for your break-even and sales target.
02

Choose your stock with purpose

Think through bestsellers, entry prices, supporting products and quantities. Balance choice with the cash you can afford to tie up.

YOUR TAKEAWAYA clearer product mix and stock checklist.
03

Make buying feel easier

Consider how your display, prices, offers and customer conversations work together. Help people understand what you sell and why it is right for them.

YOUR TAKEAWAYPractical priorities for your stand and selling approach.
04

Make the next event smarter

Know what to record beyond total sales. Review what sold, what customers asked for and how you will follow up with permission.

YOUR TAKEAWAYA simple review and follow-up plan.

A TASTE OF THE THINKING

What does
“a good day”
actually mean?

If your event costs GH₵600 and each sale contributes GH₵60 after the product’s variable costs, you need 10 sales just to cover the event costs.

That is before making any extra profit. Change the figures to see how the target moves.

Illustrative planning example. This is not a forecast of your results. Use one currency consistently and include all relevant costs.

YOUR QUICK BREAK-EVEN CHECK

Selling price less product and other variable costs, using a realistic average.

10
sales to cover
your event costs

GH₵600 ÷ GH₵60 = 10 sales

IS THIS FOR YOU?

First market?
Next market?
You’re in the right place.

01 / STARTING OUT

You’re preparing for your first pop-up.

You have a product or range in mind and want to understand what to prepare before committing more money.

02 / ALREADY SELLING

You’ve done the events. Now you want more clarity.

You want to make more deliberate choices about stock, targets and the customer experience.

03 / PEAK SEASON READY

You’re planning for a busier season.

You want your markets, fairs and peak season selling opportunities to fit a practical commercial plan.

What to expect, honestly.

This is a focused group workshop. It gives you a planning framework to apply to your own business. It does not include an individual business audit, a stall at an event or a guarantee of sales. You will get more from it if you bring your figures and make time to use what you learn.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Good questions.
Clear answers.

If something you need is missing, email hello@jokconsultancy.com.

I have never done a pop-up. Is this too advanced?

No. The session is designed to help you think through the preparation, whether this is your first event or your next one. You do not need a finance background. Bring estimates if you do not have exact figures yet.

I already sell at markets. What would I get from it?

A structured opportunity to review your approach. We’ll connect your costs and margins to your targets, then look at your stock choices and customer experience. Bring a previous event’s figures if you have them.

Is it just for clothing brands?

No. The workshop is for businesses selling physical products across fashion, accessories, beauty and lifestyle, including skincare, cosmetics and homeware. The focus is the commercial preparation behind a pop-up.

Do I need to be based in Ghana?

No. You can join online from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. The workshop starts at 6:30 pm GMT. Tickets are charged in Ghana cedis. Payment methods shown at checkout depend on your location and Paystack’s availability; your bank may apply conversion charges.

What if I cannot attend live or my internet drops?

Your ticket includes 14 days of replay access and the workbook. You can return to the session afterwards. Live attendance is useful if you want to work through the thinking alongside the session.

What do I need to bring?

A notebook, a calculator or phone, and any product prices, product costs and expected event costs you already have. Rough estimates are fine. You can also use figures from an event you attended previously.

What exactly is included in the ticket?

The 90 minute live online workshop with Jessica Okwabi, the planning workbook and 14 days of replay access. Individual consulting, event stalls and physical products are not included.

Will this guarantee a profitable pop-up?

No workshop can guarantee your sales or profit. The purpose is to give you a clearer way to plan, set targets and make decisions. Your results will depend on your products, prices, costs, event audience and how you apply the work.

How do I get the joining link?

Your place is secured after successful payment. Your Google Meet link and joining instructions will be emailed before 29 October. Check the email address you use at checkout and your spam folder. Contact hello@jokconsultancy.com if you need help.

Can I cancel or transfer my ticket?

Please review the current refund policy and email hello@jokconsultancy.com about your circumstances before booking if cancellation or transfer flexibility is important to you. The replay is included if you cannot attend live.
