1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to jokconsultancy.com and purchases from JOK Consultancy, Ghana. By using the website, placing an order or booking a service, you agree to these terms and any service-specific information shown at the time of purchase. Contact: hello@jokconsultancy.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your password and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Services and digital products
Descriptions, inclusions, prices and availability are shown on the relevant page. We may correct genuine errors before fulfilment and will contact you if a material correction affects an order. Digital products are supplied through My Account → My Tools after confirmed payment.
4. Orders, prices and payment
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue confirmation or grant access. The checkout will show the applicable price and currency. Payments may be processed by Stripe, Paystack or another displayed provider. You authorise the selected provider to process the payment. We may refuse or cancel an order affected by fraud, error, unauthorised payment or legal restriction and will handle any amount received appropriately.
5. Digital delivery and licence
Paid digital products are made available only through your customer account. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own business or learning. You must not share account access, reproduce for resale, distribute, publish, sublicense, remove ownership notices from, or make the products available to another person unless written permission is given.
6. Bookings
Consulting sessions are booked through the JOK Consultancy Cal.com links and remain subject to the duration, availability and preparation requirements displayed for that service. Unless the service page states otherwise, request a change at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Late cancellations and missed sessions may be treated as used and non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
7. Refunds
The Refund and Digital Products Policy forms part of these terms. Because digital access is supplied immediately, purchases are not refundable after access is made available in My Account → My Tools, except for duplicate charges, an incorrect or materially defective file, or any remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Intellectual property
The website, brand, copy, graphics, methods, digital products and other materials are owned by or licensed to JOK Consultancy and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No ownership transfers to you.
9. Responsible use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or operation, upload malicious code, scrape protected content, use the service unlawfully, or infringe another person’s rights. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the business or the website.
10. Information and results
Our materials and services provide commercial guidance and practical tools. They are not legal, tax, accounting or regulated financial advice. Results depend on your circumstances, decisions and implementation, and no particular commercial outcome is guaranteed. You remain responsible for decisions made using the materials.
11. Availability and third parties
We aim to keep the website and purchased access available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security events and third-party outages may occur. Links and services supplied by third parties are governed by their own terms.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, JOK Consultancy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity or data arising from use of the website, services or digital products. Where liability may lawfully be limited, the aggregate liability connected with a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase.
13. Changes, severability and waiver
We may update these terms for future use of the website or future purchases. The terms applying to an existing purchase are those accepted at that time unless a change is required by law or benefits you. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a concern by contacting hello@jokconsultancy.com. Subject to any mandatory rights or forum, disputes will be dealt with by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ghana.
